“Hard work pays off. You have to be just as disciplined to run a business as you do to train for an athletic event. You have to eat right, still have to get up early and work more than others.”
Wes Santee

Emily Infeld has some injury recovery advice - I offer one piece of advice I have learned and that is take time off earlier than later - the longer you put off what is needed, rest, usually the longer you will end up taking off later and inevitably closer to the event you were putting off rest to compete in.

Having been working at improving my metabolic efficiency so that I am more fat adapted it is good to see more info getting out there - here are some good articles at Podium Runner: Become a Better Butter Burner, Five Questions About FuelNo-Fuel/Slow-Fuel Long Runs &  Dathan Ritzenhein's Marathon Fueling Journey.  The thing here is takes time and knowing your body and also realizing metabolic efficiency and Keto are not the same thing - they be but in and of themselves are not.  Get informed and then wrk to see what works best for you.  I am simply LCHF and it works for me - I basically train low (carbs) and race higher (carbs) so no carb phobias here just need to knowhow they affect you.
